These heifers are home raised on two camps, one near Woods Landing and the other north of Cheyenne, WY. They all wear the same Flying L brand on their right shoulder.



We have bred and developed them to be moderate cows that produce deep bodied, growthy calves. We select bulls for strong maternal traits, good feet, longevity in the cow herd and performance in the feedlot. For many years we have used only registered, low PAP bulls from programs including: TJS Angus, Walter Angus, Diamond Peak Angus and Jorgenson Angus.



We summered these heifers at the base of Sheep Mountain near Woods Landing, Wyoming from 7400-7800’ of elevation. After pregnancy testing we shifted them to the southern Black Hills of SD where they continue to be on grass and protein tubs.



We use a complete modified live vaccination program on our calves. Recently these heifers have had the following shots, At pre breeding: Express 5 VL5, Vision 7, Valbazen oral Dewormer and Long Range. At Preg testing time: Cleanup Back Pour and first shot of the Guardian scour prevention program. They are BANGS vaccinated, wear EIDS and are ready to go anywhere.
