If you want a horse the entire family can safely enjoy, one with zero issues, problems, or maintenance required, then take a look at Bullseye. This type of horse doesn’t come for sale too often, one that can seamlessly transition from English to Western, can jump and ride down the trails, and can pack a 2 year old or a 90 year old and everything in between. Bullseye is a 16 year old Bavarian Warmblood, 16.3 hh and very nicely built. He is branded but he does not come with papers, so he will be selling as grade. He is as honest and safe as they come, and he is sound with no health or lameness issues. Bullseye spent most of his life on the English show circuit, showing in hunters and hunter under saddle, until he came to us. I bought him back in February from the husband of the woman who had owned him for most of his life. She had passed away 5 year before and he had sat in a pasture until I bought him. When I got Bullseye home, I threw a western saddle and back cinch on him for the first time in his life and he rode off just like he had been ridden the day before. I have never had an ounce of trouble out of him, and my 7 year old son rode him all summer. The only reason he is for sale is because we have found a cow horse for my son, which suits his interests better. Bullseye is an old schoolmaster type, he takes care of everyone who climbs on his back and will not take advantage of beginner or timid riders. He is a beautiful mover and very classy over fences, with perfect lead changes. He will not refuse a jump, and has never offered to buck, rear, bite, kick or take off. Bullseye is more of a push style ride, but he is not lazy. He has a wonderfully smooth trot and rocking horse lope, and he will both neck rein and direct rein. He knows his leads, will work off your leg, and has beautiful transitions. Bullseye has perfect ground manner, is easy to catch, great for the shoes, and loads and hauls well. He gets along with everyone out in the pasture, does fine in a stall, and is an easy keeper. He will ride out alone as well as with a group, and doesn’t mind being separated from the group while riding. Bullseye has been ridden down the road and in traffic and isn’t bothered by it.
