Description:
I am a 22 year old single male with 4 and a half years of experience in ranching professionally, ive also grown up in and around ranching with my father my entire life.



Im not going to waste your time telling you how good of a worker i am and claim to be a know it all, so let me just define what my experience is.



4.5 years fencing, thats repairing and building entirely new fences, ive worked with metal t posts and wood posts, i have used hydraulic post pounders.



4.5 years working with cattle, thats doctoring them, branding, calving, herding, preg checking and such. I have minimal experience on the Doctoring end and have experience using LA 200, generic penicillin, dextrose, b12 and a few others.



4.5 years working with sheep, i have more experience with sheep in all aspects, doctoring, lambing etc. I have gone out on the prairie for a month at a time camping out with the range ewes, doing rotational grazing and such, i have also carried a rifle at all times to protect them from any natural predators such as coyotes and bears.



I am well versed with a variety of equipment, namely 4 wheelers, automatic tractors, skidsteers/bobcats, backhoes, swathers, Hay busters and so on, i have a little bit of experience of working with manual transmission vehicles but primarily with newer equipment.



I can work well with others or independently, i don’t start drama nor do i tolerate unnecessary drama, I’m all business and want to do my job well.

I have very little mechanic experience and do not claim to be one,i know how to do basic maintenance on tractors and vehicles, greasing, checking oil, checking air filter etc, i have changed wheel bearings on trailers as well.



I have two border Collies I use for working livestock, sheep and cattle alike, my dogs are well mannered and do not run a muck, i train my dogs to work in a low stress manner and do not hang off the throats of livestock, if they are not with me working they are tied up or in a kennel, my eldest dog is also trained to assist me with with fencing by using a specialized backpack to carry any tools or supplies I need.



I am looking for a ranch with housing, i do not smoke or drink, i am clean and do not wear boots inside and take care of whatever living space i am in.
