Gun In A Bar is a 12-year-old 14.3 hand bay gelding that has been there and done that. He is quiet and kind, but also has the athleticism to do just about anything. He is a finished barrel horse, but don’t hold that against him... you wouldn’t be able to tell unless you let him run towards a barrel. He is well broke, soft in the face, moves off your leg, knows leads.. all the things you would expect of an upstanding citizen. Stands, hauls, clips. I’ve taken him team sorting. He’s started on the poles. I ride him out in our pasture. I’ve taken him through brush and creaks and ponied horses off of him. I’m posting him here because I’d love to see him go on to be someone’s trail, sorting, ranch horse. He has ran barrels since he was 4 (again, you wouldn’t be able to tell if I didn’t tell you) and I don’t care if he sees another barrel because he’s done everything, I’ve ever asked him. I’d say he’s best suitable for an intermediate rider at minimum because he is a performance horse. I’m an open book when it comes to selling horses, so give me a call and ask me all of the questions. I think that is what is best for the horse.
