Hello, I will be looking for a ranch job come early spring 2025(Februrary). Will be looking for something long term. I have a full resume and references I can send. Most recently worked on a cow/calf operation for 3 years as the lone ranch hand taking care of 400 head. I was involved in all aspects from cattle work horseback to herd health(mostly with dart gun or pushing sick animals to corrals and doctoring) have only doctored a few horseback, I’ve doctored a lot of calves for scours and have done iv’s in calves before. Also have calved heifers and done a lot of hauling of bulls.I did all the haying from swathing to baling to all the equipment maintenance. Fixed a lot of fence, also have fixed a few water systems as well. Don’t have a horse at the moment but I do have tack. I also have a well mannered dog that comes with me. I don’t have all the experience in the world but I do have a willingness and want to learn more as there is not anything I have done that I’ve loved as much as ranching. The last place I was on I mostly worked 7 days a week year round so I am used to the lifestyle. Looking mostly in Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Colorado but would consider other areas.
