They are all well behaved and are not destructive. I am 48, I have a wife (44) who stays home and takes care of the animals and kids. We have been married 20 yrs. We have 3 kids , ages 16, 14 and 11. We homeschool, have 7 horses, 3 dairy cows my wife hand milks,1 cat, and about 100 chickens. We try to live as self-sufficient as possible. I have been doing this type of work my whole life, I also have owned my own trucking company and have a CDL but quit and moved to where we are so I could spend more time with my family and not be over the road. I have known the family I work for now my whole life so thought it would be different. But things are not turning out the way they were supposed to, The Father passed away 3 months after I started here, and the sons are not sticking to the agreement that their Father and I had. We are not looking to be another hired hand; we have kids we want to create a future for. We want to be a part of the operation. We want to own our own small acreage one day and run a few head of our own cattle, either with someone’s or on our own. But will need housing until a place in the area comes up for sale. We are God loving, A2 supporting, government hating, conspiracy theorist Family. Faith, Family and Freedom are everything to us. We do not drink ( I do drink socially on occasion; the wife does not drink at all) or do drugs; you will not find me on my phone all day or messing around when there is work to be done. The wife and kids help out when needed. I do currently get decent pay, a house provided and all utilities. They let us keep our dogs and livestock here, we get a full beef a year, and a work truck. I was supposed to be able to run 20 or 30 head with theirs and they were going to give me a small allowance each month in leu of health insurance. But that has not and will not happen with the Father gone. Some think I ask for a lot , but you will never be disappointed in me or my work ethic. I treat every place like it is my own and want to see is succeed. If the place I work for succeeds , so do I. I have always gone above and beyond and want to be appreciated for it. I don’t need to be baby sat and can easily see and recognize jobs that need to be done without being told. But also have no problem taking and following directions.
