Description:
“Steve” is a grade 12-year-old paint gelding that stands a solid 16 hands with a thick build. He has been used for ponying racehorses on the track, he’s pushed cows at the sale barn, and opens gates well. He’s not spooky having been around loud noises at the sale barns with the hydraulic gates and the track. Steve also gets used when colts need to be started and ponies them around to get them halter broke along with helping desensitize them. He’s been used at feedlots, riding pens and being roped off of. This horse would make a great trail horse as well. He’ll cross water, logs, or whatever you point him at. Steve sat for 2 years with minimal rides by a teenage beginner girl with no issues. He is the kind of horse that can go with time off for whenever life gets busy and still stay the same horse. No buck, rear, or bite even with being turned out. This horse would make a great addition to anyone’s herd.

Steve sells at the Colorado Horse Sale in Brighton on November 18th.
