Description:
ROSS CREEK OSI TOP (Ross) is a nice minded 15.1 hand, 4 year old quarter horse gelding. I got him as a project horse in early December of 2021 up in Montana, and he has been incredible every step of the way. I had hoped to keep him for long term, but recently I started a barn manager position and I don’t have the time I wanted to put into him. Board is also expensive, so I can only afford to keep one horse.



With just maybe 40 rides, he’s had a little bit of experience in the cow working world. He attended an all day cow working clinic last summer, and he handled it all like a champ, even with other green horses around him. He also worked out at the Matador Ranch located in Montana for a short time, and the person who used him said he did awesome.



Beyond acting like a colt at times, considering he’s only 4 and hasn’t had a consistent amount of work, he’s shown he has a good head on his shoulders, and I can see him making a fantastic kids horse once he’s had quality miles put onto him for a couple years.



He’s athletic, smart, and kind. It breaks my heart a little to sell this cool dude. However, I think he could make a good little dressage or jumper for young riders if someone wanted to take him in that direction.



While out at the Matador, he got a puncture wound on his left hind leg out in pasture. It’s developed into a bump, but it hasn’t affected his soundness, and the X-Rays show that the old injury site is completely clean. X-rays can be provided upon request.
