He’s led tons of mavericks out of the New Mexico rocks and drug tons of calves to the branding fire. He is a very personable horse and stays gentle all year round. He rides low headed, quiet, and comes equipped with the ranch horse manners that can’t be beat. Tick is billy goat-sure footed out on the trails. Tick gets along great with other horses, is easy to shoe, and a pleasure to have around. He’s traffic safe and never gets worked up. Tick has also seen some of the performance horse world and would really excel if someone wanted to go haul him in the barrels or finish him on the head side. We could brag about this one til we are blue in the face. We’ve let him get several weeks fresh, saddled him up, and struck off on a gather never offering any foolishness.
