Description:
“Kip” is a 2 1/2 year-old registered kelpie. She was started on sheep as a 10 month old pup, but I have only used her for breeding.



She has had 2 litters, and both times had 8 puppies. Her litters consisted of mostly black and tan puppies, but also had 2 red and tan puppies in one litter and 4 the next time.



She has great mothering skills and whelping ease! I never had to assist with any of it and she was pushing a puppy out about every 15 to 20 minutes. She produced plenty of milk and performed all her mothering skills wonderfully! She also started the weaning process at the right time, and on her own. She is not a big eater, and eats just about as needed to stay trim and fit. With both of her litters, she was a little thinner than I would’ve liked after having puppies and I just fed her extra and some scraps to help her gain. She is in her prime as far as weight and looks now!



Kip is very friendly, gentle, and a playful dog. She is not much for laying around, unless it’s the heat of the day, but loves to play with the other dogs. If the yearlings are close to the house, she still shows her working instinct, and watches and creeps up on them, if allowed. She’s great with other dogs, and all ages of people. She is not a barker, but will bark if excited while playing.



I’ve included a copy of her papers in the pictures.



The only reason I am finding her a new home, is because I’m having to find new homes for all of my dogs. Jobs, moving, and family issues have made this a must.



I am planning a trip from Tennessee to Kansas and onto Wyoming, October 7th-14th. If you are out that direction and interested, we can meet up.
