Description:
We are looking to hire IMMEDIATELY the right couple preferably but would consider a single person for our facility. This is a long term live in position. This is not a riding position. We need someone that is very experienced in bathing and grooming horses. Getting horses prepped for pictures, videos or for clients to see is part of it. Also taking care of dogs and dog kennels is a large part of this job. Watering the horses in the barns at scheduled times is part of the job duties. Also to bleach and wash the water buckets once a week. Cleaning the barn office daily is a requirement. You will be responsible for helping with putting on winter blankets and taking them off when the cold season starts. There are some barn duties like general clean up and keeping the barns looking nice. No stall cleaning is required. You will be turning horses in and out for exercise and putting them on the walker. We have driving horses and use them for parties and events. You will be responsible for keeping the carriages and wagons clean and polished at all times. You will be helping with the different events and parties we do with the horses and ponies. Yard maintenance and just general outside maintenance is part of it. We do work a lot of hours and this position takes dedication and work but it’s not really hard work. We provide a place to live with bills paid.
