Our immediate need is finding someone with experience working and managing a cow-calf operation. We are currently a little operation with big plans. If you are looking for a great team to build something incredible with, this is the job for you. We are passionate about building a premier operation for both quality horses and consumer direct beef. We care about our beef. We are patient and work hard to keep their stress at a minimum. Our care combined with our selective genetics, results in the best possible product for our end consumers. Our horses are trained using natural horsemanship. We use processes that date back hundreds of years, allowing us to focus on building great horses. The results - polished, ranch horses and responsive cattle. That’s where you come in. If you want the best of both worlds, working with horses and raising high-quality beef, this is your dream job. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Duties change as the seasons do. These include, but are not limited to: Provide general care to livestock by feeding, providing directed health care, and assisting with calving. Perform regular and directed ranch maintenance. Safely operate light vehicles and machinery, tractors, skid steers, trucks, and trailers. Take care of stuff, ensure that farm/ranch machinery, equipment, and tools are operational by performing routine and preventative maintenance and cleaning machinery, equipment, and tools, and making minor repairs. Requires the ability to work out-of-doors, year-round, in all types of weather. MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - Education: High School/GED required. Bachelor’s in related fields preferred. Experience: 2 years in a cow-calf operation. We would love it if you had both horse training and cow-calf experience.
