Description:
Ole Bay is a 14.2 hh 6 year old AQHA gelding. Ole Bay has been used extensively on the ranch for all aspects from trailing cattle, riding herd health, pairing out, branding, and corral work, you name it he’s probably done it. He is a very gentle horse however I would suggest him as a horse for experienced riders. He is sensitive and can get his energy level amped up if he feels you getting nervous or frustrated. He really excels at watching a cow there for with his size I believe he would make a great team penning horse or breakaway horse where he doesn’t have to take big jerks from animals. He will take a jerk and try his best to stop one of any size however a lot of the bigger animals outweigh him and in return end up dragging him along. Ole Bay has come out of the box a handful of times just messing around and shows a lot of potential to do well as a rope horse. He will lay his ears back and run hard to an animal.
