Description:
Mountain Goat is a 15hh, 13-year-old grade QH mare. She is out of a grade mare and sired by Casino Tivio a Lowry Star bred stud. Mountain Goat is nothing fancy but has been used in all aspects of ranching. She is good at trailing cattle and gathering out of rough country, or in the branding pen. She knows how to move her body correctly and is definitely not a bronc. Whatever you need done she is capable of completing the job she just prefers the miles over corral work. She could make a nice guest ranch horse, or using ranch horse/ mountain horse. Her biggest downfall is she is a pain to catch out in the pasture if she has horses to hide behind, if she is out with just one or two others that are easy to catch I don’t see her being a problem, or if you have a corral to run them into she will face up for you to catch her. Mountain Goat has a long smooth stride in her walk and trot which also makes her a nice country covering horse. For more information contact me. Taylor (307)277-6139.
