Description:
We are located on the West face of the Sacramento Mountains in New Mexico and have the best sunset views around.



We are looking for one person to live in one of our bedrooms and help take care of morning and evening barn chores. You will have a private bedroom and bathroom. Rent and utilities (within reason) will be covered by performing twice daily chores. Having your own vehicle is a must since we are rural and about 30 minutes from town.



Horse experience preferred but not required. Chores consist of mucking stalls in a 4 stall barn and feeding/caring for chickens, ducks, barn cats, horses, mini donkeys and goats.



If you’d like to make money working on the ranch, there are always opportunities for that. Most work is outdoors and manual labor. There is also a barn shop and sometimes we need a cashier to help.



Our home has two levels and is built on the side of a mountain, so you walk in on the upper level, which is where we live. The bottom level has it’s own kitchen, living room, and exercise room. Those would mostly only be occupied by you, but we do reserve the right to utilize those rooms, especially the gym. Anytime we have friends or family come stay, those would shared spaces.



We have 3 dogs and 1 cat that stay in the house, so you also need to be okay with animals.



This is an ideal situation for a young person who wants to move out of the house, but may not be ready for their own apartment. Reliability and communication are a must.
