This is a gelding that is an absolute pleasure in every way to own and ride. He is easy to catch out of the pasture, an easy keeper and has a wonderful

personality. “Cougar” is not true to his name, he is a complete teddy bear. He is very sweet natured and kind and is safe and gentle for anyone to ride. He is broke and honest with a handle that I would describe as that of an old fashioned ranch horse. He stays right between your bridle reins and neck reins honestly as well as moves off your legs. He is a smooth ride with smooth gaits and transitions. He stops very well, backs easily and side passes. His lope is absolute to die for, he catches both leads easily and lopes easy collected circles. Cougar has primarily been used as a trail horse to ride in the mountains of Colorado on hunts. He is gentle and can tolerate time off without getting fresh. Cougar would fit ideally into a lesson program and would be a very versatile candidate for a range of students from beginner to advanced. He is youth safe without a doubt and would serve well in any capacity from lessons to playdays, trails or even on the ranch. He is incredibly user friendly and easy to get along with. Trailers well, stands tied quietly and is well mannered in every way. Come try him, you will fall in love
