Piece of Pepto is one of the prettiest geldings around, and we always get complimented anywhere we take him! Nic has a resume a mile long and has the sweetest disposition. He is as pretty as a picture and conformationally flawless. He is broke the very best and almost any level of rider can enjoy him. Nic rides around at a walk, trot, and lope on a draped rein. He has a comfortable trot and the smoothest short lope you could ask for. He lopes nice circles and knows his leads. He has a solid stop, back, and good spin. He will lope right off from a standstill. Nic has been to the Little Britches Final and has reserve champion titles. We have hauled him to chuckwagon races for a weekend of fun and he never missed a beat. He respected hot wire while in with another horse. Nic was ridden up and down steep embankments, creek beds with shallow water, around big and little wagons, and concerts. He has been through belly-deep rivers and ponds. Nic has been used outside for various duties of ranch work. He has competed in a handful of team pennings, always putting his rider where they needed to be. Nic is the kind of horse, If you have an inexperienced person coming over to ride, that’s who you put them on. He is trustworthy and patient with his rider. Not a mean bone in his body and walks out to the pasture to catch him easily. He rides around bridleless and is just as easy to ride. Nic is the ultimate trail gelding that is enjoyable to ride and easy on the eyes. He has done the local ranch versatility classes and is up for anything. He goes over the obstacles and opens/closes the mailbox and gates. Nic is a once-in-a-lifetime gelding that you would drive the wheels off your truck to find.
