Description:
Large, diversified cowcalf operation located near Bartlett, NE in the north central Nebraska sandhills is seeking all around ranch help. Job includes lots of cattle work be it horseback, chuteside, ATV, or ground. Cattle work is mostly seasonal in the spring and fall but there will be various works year round. Equipment operation, fencing, light mechanical work, and property maintenance are parts of the job as well.

Ranch begins calving in April and retains calves to be sold as yearlings. First calf heifers are calved in fall.

We mow our own native grass hay, gather, and feed it during the snow months. We have a large amount of machinery from hay processors to payloaders, to cedar tree mulchers. We do not farm, however we mow our own native grass hay and custom hire the baling. We have a crew of 8 including a full time mechanic.

Experience is preferred but we are willing to train the right individual with no experience.

We provide housing, utilites, insurance, retirement plan, beef, calving bonus, and hay for two head of horses. You may have more horses but will have to find your own feed for extras. Housing is nice and suitable for families.

School is 10 miles away.
