Description:
Mikey is a super cool 14H gaited horse that is bomb proof. He’s broke to death and fun to ride. He is the same horse if you ride him every day or once every 6 months and always tacks up and rides right off. You can ride him bareback. He has the cutest personality and loves people. He’s always easy to catch. He was owned and ridden by an elderly gentleman to do light ranch duties such as gathering, penning and moving cattle from section to section. He also scouted for strays and checked fences and windmills on him. The kids took him swimming in the lake. He had previously broken his back so he had to ride a gaited horse because of the smooth way of traveling.

Mikey has also been hauled all over New Mexico and Arizona to trail ride extensively by the gentleman and his wife. He’ll go up and down hills, through rough terrain, across water and wherever else you want him to. He’s been ridden down the road and is traffic safe. They rode him in parades with the grandkids. All of their grandkids at some point have ridden and enjoyed him. We’ve used him for parties and events at our event center and he’s awesome with the crowds and giving rides to multiple people. The kids also paint him and dress him up for fun days at church. If you are in the market for a gaited horse that is very gentle and been used around cattle take a look at Mikey. He has plenty of manners and acts like a gentleman.
