Description:
Cowboys Jacspin is a 7yr old gelding that is as flashy and as fancy as they come! He is by a Hollywood Dun It stud and out of a Jacspin mare.

Cowboy is a true stand out all around head, heel, breakaway, and barrel prospect with a correct foundation that has set him up for a long successful rodeo or jackpot career! He has also been used to teach horsemanship clinics, will put together a nice simple pattern and I think he would do well as a sorting or show horse also! He is extremely soft in the bridle and just as soft in his body! Collects, flexes, crosses over, stops and backs with a light leg, hand and seat! You can give him all the time off in the world, saddle him up and get right back to work, he has been ridden bareback, and bridleless and will also lay down. He has absolutely no buck, rear, kick, or bite, and is in your pocket type.

He is a finished head horse and he is fun and easy! He scores great, leaves off your hand, rates a steer really nicely and faces as soon as you ask! He enjoys being behind a steer and works his best when left alone, get in the box, drop your hand, and stay out of his face! He will move off your leg after you dally! He will not get by a steer and is more push style! He has placed in the higher number roping’s (12 and 13s) as well as the lower number roping’s (7 and 8s). He is better suited for a lower number roper as he doesn’t have enough run for the higher number roping’s! He has not been through a rope barrier.

He is a really nice and easy heel horse and just needs to be entered and make more runs, drive him up into his spot and take your shot!

He is also ready for someone to season and enter in the barrel pen, he is patterned, knows his job and needs someone to start adding speed and confidence! He runs left or right and was recently entered for the first time at a small jackpot and cruised in the 2D. He is very light and reactive to hands and seat, and will need a quiet rider, he will be push style. The more speed that is added he feels like he wants to be more square in his style.

We have also breakaway roped a few times on him, very inconsistently, and he did place in a round of a breakaway roping in the novice division (I am not a breakaway roper and just got lucky and caught). I unfortunately do not have any videos of him on calves.

This is truly a horse that you can load up in your rig, and enter every event on and be competitive! He has a lot of personality and that leads him to have his QUIRKS! He is safe, I rode him 9 months pregnant, but he is spooky, price is reflective of that and for a quick sale. I’m happy to disclose quirks/spookiness with serious buyers!
