Description:
Rider needed to top broke horses, put miles on trail horses, train, tune, and ready sale horses. These are nice ranch/trail horses, not trader horses. Mostly outside riding, little or no arena work. Must be able to ride a bucking horse, manage many horses at one time at different stages, helpful to be able to shoe and haul, cattle/roping knowledge a plus. We’re a working horse leasing operation, www.MontanaHorses.com, phasing out and selling a super nice string of proven horses to recreational clients. Most horses are sold at the ranch from www.MontanaHorsesForSale.com, some will be sent to various sales. Rider may be asked to help ready and be present to show and ride during sales appointments and at sales. Some cattle work will be possible through shipping, using these horses. Little or no ranch duties, just riding and working with horses. Position is full time for a couple months until the ground freezes, but we could work around someone’s schedule in school or part-time. If interested and qualified, this could be longer term and include starting and training 3 & 4yo nice colts and more cattle work.
