He is always safe and reliable, a gelding that you can do absolutely anything on with no worries. He is as easy as they come in every manner. Bandit is a finished breakaway horse in the roping pen. He has been hauled a bunch and has been through a barrier. He knows his job and very much enjoys it. He has plenty of run and adjusts well to cattle speed. He will not run past a slower calf, but he will not get out run either. Would be a perfect Jr High or High School Rodeo horse and is gritty enough to jackpot on. However, the roping pen is not the only place Bandit excels. He is great to ranch on as well. He is well accustomed to ranch life and all aspects of ranch work. We have used to doctor calves, catch and load cattle, gather in the swap and backwoods and much more. He is reliable and plenty capable of doing any job you set out to do. That being said you do not have to be a cowboy to ride him. He is gentle and safe as they come and is without a doubt a pleasurable trail partner as well. He is careful with his feet and great at picking through rough or sticky terrain. We have a lot of swap land here that we check and gather cattle in and he is awesome about not panicking in thick areas or sticky situations. He will ride out alone or in a group and isn’t silly about leaving the barn or other horses. He will ride through and cross anything you pint him at whether it be water, deep mud, grown up vines or thick brush. Bandit can tolerate time off and isn’t one that you have to worry about if he’s been sitting. He has never offered to buck or get fresh and there have been times we have let him sit for several weeks in between use. He sells to be gentle, versatile and absolutely sound. Bandit is an outstanding gelding that will be a sure to please anywhere he goes.
