Description:
Flit is an incredible ranch horse, here on Circle R Farms. I have used him for a year now. He has done it all: dragging calves, sorting, gathering, tripping yearlings, laying down cows, dragging anything into a trailer.

Flit is as good of a four year old as you can find. He is incredibly fast and just a ton of horse. He won’t spook at anything, has never offered to buck, rear, or kick. I have had the rope under his tail and it really doesn’t phase him. Step off of him and he will stand there and really handle the rope. I have lots of videos of him pasture roping.

Flit is even a great trail horse, I took him to a NATRAC ride my wife was in and he finished 2nd in the open division. He is ready to go straight to the arena and be a horse you can win on calf roping, breakaway roping, healing, and he is stout enough to make a great head horse.

I have been using him on our ranch where we run a little over 1000 pairs and carry our calves to 800 pounds so he has been around every aspect of ranch work and he probably drug 300 calves this spring. I have never had any soundness issues with him and have never had to treat him for any soreness which is rare in these sharp rocks.

Flit was raised on the Cone Ranch, where they have been breeding outstanding ranch horses for 48 years and he carries the Cone brand.

If you’re looking for a really cowy gelding who will track a calf great, is fast enough to get there quick, and can handle anything you latch on to all while being sound, safe, and sane this is your guy.
