2016 Bay QH Gelding (7 years old)

15 Hands 1,000lbs

Located in Northeast Colorado



Jake is a beautiful gelding with a big, fun personality. He had a late start in life due to no fault of his own but he is ready for you to take and finish how you want. He loves to go ride out in the pastures. He has a great walk and jog but needs a strong rider as his lope is powerful. He is not particularly fast but he has also not been asked to go very fast so there may be some untapped potential there. Most of his foundation will fit a ranch style or even open lower caliber show horse. He is Ranch Heritage eligible but he is not currently bought in. He is not yet finished in the bridle but isn’t far off. He has seen several trail obstacles and nothing bothers him. He has a decent start in Showmanship and would be easy to add the finishing touches. He is stout and will get you noticed everywhere you go. He has won an overall halter gelding buckle. Jake is going to make someone with more time and patience a phenomenal horse.
