Description:
Krebs Ranch is a well-established, family-owned purebred ranch located in the Sand Hills of Nebraska who’s in their 43rd year of raising purebred Angus cattle.



We are seeking a qualified manager for our feeding and development yard in Gordon, NE.



Qualified Applicants will be able to:



-Work with our nutritionist and owners to successfully develop registered bulls from weaning to yearlings for our annual bull sale.



-Work with our nutrionist and owners to successfully develop registered and commercial replacement heifers.



-Safely operate and maintain equipment used in the daily operation of a feedlot, such as a payloader, feed truck, skid steer, tractor, pen maintainer, manure spreader and other feedlot equipment.



-Identify and properly treat sickness or any other health problems that may occur.



-Provide necessary bedding and protection for bulls and heifers in winter months.



-Care for yearling bred heifers on grass in the summer - including checking health, repairing fences, checking water and putting out salt and mineral.



-Lead and communicate with at least one other assistant in the completion of daily tasks.



-Assist with hay production in the summer months.
