Description:
Excellent shank snaffle maker marked COATS on the inside of the left shank—also on the mouthpiece. Not sure where the maker is located but he makes a nice bit. Eight pieces of engraved silver which includes a couple of eye catching horseshoes on the 6 ¾” shanks. Large tapered bars in the mouthpiece are similar to those made by Jerry Cates. Definitely the using kind. I am not sure the bit has ever been in a horse’s mouth. $260.00 includes shipping to the lower 48. Please, phone calls only.
