Description:
Nice, well made using headstall. Roughout leather with browband and throat latch; stainless hardware with some engraved hearts and conchos that look like they were added later. Heavy, well made headstall in good condition. The bit looks to have some age to it and has been used some. Overlay does not appear to be silver, we are guessing possibly monel?. No makers marks anywhere that we can find; seems like a nice using bit. Cheeks are approx. 8" long, mouth measures approx. 5 1/4" wide.
