Description:
This is a year and a half old black mouth cur female out of working cow parents. Her parents are working cow dogs out of Price, Utah. She has been around horses and gone on a number of rides when we are visiting home on holidays. She has seen cows, but never worked them, but I think she would be a good age to start on them, or for hunting. She loves to use her nose. She is obedient, will come, down, sit, get in, place. We use a shock collar on her when she is out and she will come off anything using a light shock. She is fixed. She is a playful, sweet dog that once she warms up to people is very nice.





My wife and I got her while I am in school knowing she would just have to be a family/yard/house dog for a couple years before we moved back to a ranch lifestyle where she could work cows and hunt. She has been a great family dog for us and is very obedient. We had a baby in September and she is really nervous around him when they are both inside the house and he is close to her. She has growled at him a couple of times when he moved suddenly next to her. I don’t think any of this would be an issue if we were where we hope to be in a few years, which is on a ranch. She has been a really good dog for us and we are really sad our baby makes her nervous. As such, we want to sell her so that she can have the lifestyle she is fit for and not have her crammed in a house and backyard.
