Description:
"Taquita" is a 9 year old pony mare, standing right at 14hh. This pony has been everywhere - from the mountains, to the roping pen, to downtown Denver for the Stockshow Parade. Taquita is a bombproof pony looking for her next confident, small human. She is a proven trail horse, crosses water, logs, and moves cattle without batting an eye. Taquita has roped a few small calves and does not mind the rope, dragging, or commotion. In the arena, Taquita has a solid walk, trot, lope, stop, back, and likes to GAIT every once in awhile. This mare can cover some country - she has a lot of stamina and will excel as a mountain/trail horse for a smaller rider, or even in some speed events. While she is quick footed, we trust her with just about anyone when folks ask to go for a ride. She is gentle on the ground, easy to catch, and is is in the middle of the herd pecking order. She has rock solid black feet that have not needed shoes yet.

Taquita will go to a great home only - we want to see her with an amazing partner that fits her fun personality. UTD on 5 Way Vaccine, Teeth Floated Feb 2023, feet trimmed in November. Prepurchase exams are welcome at interested buyers expense. Available for viewing immediately.
