Her pedigree is full of NCHA, NRCHA and NRHA Champions! She is an own daughter of Inna Little Spin, and also has Doc Spinifex, Docs Oak and Boon Bar right on her papers. Check out her complete pedigree at: https://www.allbreedpedigree.com/spins+boon+star Kismet was in professional working cow horse training until she was nearly 5, when she was purchased by a lady in her 70s to just ride on her ranch. She has been ridden just sporadically over the past couple of years, and we would like for her to go to a home where she will be given a job and a purpose in life other than just eating and the occasional trail ride. She does best with a confident rider who will take charge and not just sit up in the saddle and be a passenger, since she is smart and will try to bluff her rider if she thinks she can get away with it. Kismet is talented and has some nice training under her belt. She is extremely friendly and loves people, is not mare-ish at all and can be turned out with both mares and geldings with no problems. She has excellent ground manners, is easy to catch even in a large pasture, great for the farrier, and easy to load and haul. Kismet is a pleasure to ride out in the pasture, crosses water with no problem, and isn’t spooky. She has an excellent handle, can spin, sidepass, and will collect nicely if asked. She will work a gate, knows her leads, and has an extremely smooth trot and rocking horse lope. Kismet has been roped off of and used on the ranch to sort and push cows, but that was years ago so she will need a refresher. She is laid back and will not go any faster than you ask her to, but will easily step into a trot or lope when asked. Kismet can be ridden by herself or with other horses, and doesn’t mind being separated from the group. She has also been ridden alongside the road and isn’t bothered by it. She is UTD on coggins, teeth and vaccinations. She does require front shoes and pads, but is plenty sound for trail riding. Asking $3500. Call Wendy for more information at 210-363-1883.
