Front pasture set of 1 Iron, Home Raised, High Elevation, Commercial Red Angus Heifers.

15 Head are bull bred, and sorted by ultrasound to calve the last 2 weeks of April.

For 10 years we have used only registered bulls from programs like Pipers, Crumps, Croissants and TJS. Our cow herd is loaded with genetics from these programs and these bull bred heifers are bred back to bulls from these lines.

These girls spent the summer at over 9000 feet of elevation near Centennial, WY. Our cows run from 5500-7400 feet of elevation. We PAP test our bulls and feel its safe to say these are High Elevation heifers, bred for High Elevation calves.

We use a top shelf vaccination and deworming protocol on our cow herd and these heifers have had the same treatment since birth, including their pre breeding shots and first round of scour guard.

These girls have been handled predominantly horse back, but they have seen a four wheeler and dirt bike. They savvy dogs, electric fence and are bunk broke.

They are good to be around, their sisters have been good to calve through the barn, and they should wean a big calf.
