Two are reserved and now only 2 left. Pictured are the 2 we have available. One pup is majority white with 3 gray/blue spots on his back. The other pup is black and white like his mother Skye. He will probably have a long coat and tail. They are all very playful puppies who will lick you to death. They are very well acclimated and play well with their 3 siblings constantly. They will make beautiful show dogs if that’s your inclination but Border Collies are the best dogs for handling sheep or cattle. Our puppies are not named when sold so the owners can name them themselves on the original American Border Collie Association Certificates. They are kept inside and nursed by their mother, Skye. They are kept with their siblings and handled frequently so they will be very well acclimated and social. Border collies are the smartest dogs on the planet. They require love and are very active dogs, but they return the love 10 fold. We make sure the new owners are acceptable for such active dogs who "need a job" and are best suited for working dogs. We like to meet the new owners, but we will consider puppy transport if it’s safe and caring. "Scout", the Sire, is a tall, strong, short hair Blue Merle Border Collie. He is beautiful. His heritage is based in MO-MI-KS-NM. He was raised on a working cattle ranch outside Seminole Texas. He has very good bite and is very fast. He never gives up and has a constant attention span. He is a very loving companion and children love him since he is gentle with them. "Skye", his dam, is a beautiful medium size long hair black and white Border Collie. She was born to a small breeder in central Texas and her heritage is from that area and has a show dog background. Skye gives constant sugars, likes to play fetch and is a very fast dog with strong Border Collie attributes. She too is very gentle with children. They will be ready for adoption at 8 weeks old at or after December 11th. Your choice, until reserved or sold. We are not a "commercial breeder" and we keep our price well below the "market value" so these puppies can go to a good ranching home without price being an issue. They have had their worm treatments and will be vaccinated at 6 weeks. We are a single pair owner of Border Collies only in Waxahachie, Texas. We do not keep Border Collies for breeding but raise our dogs with love and affection since we think they are amazing. Pups are kept indoors until 4-5 weeks old and then let outside in enclosures with strict supervision when weather permits. Of course, they will be with the new family until they are ready to begin training at around 1 year old unless you plan to start their training yourself. We took them to our vet today, 11/28, for their 6 week shots. I asked our vet to test the sight and hearing for the white face pup since he’s a white border collie. He told me again that since he’s not a double merle that there’s just a .03% chance of hearing or sight loss. He checked both and said he has no issues and his hearing and sight are normal. He also said his testicles are fine if breeding is in his future.
