Schoolmaster/babysitter,TAUGHT OUR 3YR OLD TO RIDE, 1 OWNER-

Prince has been an extraordinary horse ever since we bought him as a three year old from his breeder. Prince had an incredible mind from the start. Alice started riding Prince in front of Anne when she was 1year old. When Alice was ready to start riding on her own (at 3yrs), Prince was the obvious choice. He took care of Alice from the first ride on, & as her riding skills progressed Prince has become more responsive to Alice, while still being very responsive to an experienced rider. Prince has never done one thing that concerned us of Alice’s safety. Prince can be laid off for months & he always catches up broke, soft & responsive. Prince is not lazy, he is incredibly gentle, super minded, & performs to the level of his riders ability. He has an incredible walk, & is smooth in all gates. Alice has ridden him on 4/ 20 mile cattle drives, as well as doing a lot of cattle work in & out of the pens, plus many shorter drives. The video’s of Prince says much more than I can ever communicate in words. The video is an absolutely honest picture of what Prince is. . He has been exposed to everything; Alice has ridden Prince doing ranch work, crossing rivers, wild life, deadfall timber, highway traffic, ridden all over town, ridden at night, ridden among loose horses, & even a 5 yr old can pony horses off of him, you name it Prince has been exposed to it with Alice riding him... Prince rides in either a bit or hackamore, good to catch anywhere, even in a herd of horses without grain. He will move off your leg for side passing & to open gates. He had a vet check & x rays done, 9-26-22 all clean, and they are available to any serious buyer. Prince is an easy keeper, & has never coliced. He has 2 blemishes; a scar from a cut last fall on his left front pastern, & soft scar tissue lump on left hind from 4 yrs ago. Both were carefully palpated, flexion tested & Xrayed by veterinary on 9/29/22 with no issue & declared blemishes.

If you are wanting a horse to teach your small child to ride so that you don’t have to worry about your child’s safety, plus something Mom or Dad can also enjoy riding , we encourage you to come & ride Prince, for a few hours or a couple of days. We are very proud to offer this beautiful registered gelding for sale to someone who will give him a great home, & hopefully teach some young children the total confidence & riding skills that he has taught our Daughter the last three years.
