She is by a World Champion own son of HOLLYWOOD DUN IT and out of a SHINING SPARK mare! With lots of foundation names up close on her pedigree. She is bred as well as she looks and has a disposition to match! She was born, raised and trained by some very good friends of mine who have owned her her whole life and who are still showing her sire. "Milkshake" has been trail ridden EVERYWHERE and has done all phases of ranch work. She will gather cattle, sort, rope, doctor, and you can literally step on her cold after 2 years off, and she rides off the exact same with no hump, no silliness, etc., and I know this because I myself have done it! She even had a foal last year and was a great mother! (That’s who chewed her long, gorgeous tail off). We were using her under saddle this year, and she is so great for anyone to ride in any situation that I didn’t really care to breed her, as I don’t like to ride them when they are in foal. It’s just not worth the risk to me, especially in the kind of heat we get in Texas. Rick Steed has done a bit of everything on Milkshake, and if any of you know Rick then you’ll know she has literally done a bit of everything, and Rick doesn’t tip toe around them either, lol. He gets them broke, and they trust him! Since we have had her at my place, we have hauled her to rodeos for the grand entry and for the kids to ride around, hauled her to ropings to push steers...
