Cotton is a 6 yr old, 14.3 hand, 1200lb, gray ranch gelding. This is a good looking, strong, square made gelding that is put together right. With his keen little head, you will take your headstall up and let your girth out, cinches up very deep. If he looks like one of those old time foundation type horses it’s because that’s the exact program he came out of. He came straight off the legendary Waggoner Ranch, over 500,000 acre ranch right here in the start of West Texas. He has been in a good cowboy’s string and has had a serious ranch job since broke. He has been hauled and competed on in ranch rodeos. He is a full brother to World Champion Versatility horse, Bobbie Can Do. Cotton has the the potential to be a high caliber arena horse, all the outside miles and foundation you could put on one and has roped a lot outside and in the pen. He is quick footed, fast, and cowy. He is stout enough to take a jerk tying one down or heeling behind anyone at any speed and has some withers to make a tripping horse. Cotton is a superior ranch gelding that has lots of bottom, good work ethic and tons of skills, as good outside in the rough stuff as you’ll find. Cotton is a gentle business like ranch gelding and has seen and done a lot for a young horse, because of his athletic ability is best suited for a horse person. He would surely fit an older cowboy that needs a little shorter, smooth traveling ranch horse but still wants to be on a top notch horse.
