Description:
Shooter is a big stout gelding that is sure to have heads turning wherever you take him. With his gorgeous grullo color and calm gentle demeanor he is one that will make people stop and stare. He is a full 15.1 hands and weighs in at 1250 pounds. He stands for bathing, to be saddled, and for mounting and dismounting and doesn’t move a muscle. Shooter is 100% sound and always has been. He is beautifully balanced, conformationally correct, with a pretty head. He has seen everything the trails have to offer and nothing phases him. Rocks, logs, water, and brush won’t make him bat an eye. Just let him know where you want to go and he will get you there in one piece. He is used to all sorts of machinery and is traffic safe. He has been used on the ranch to gather cattle and loves every minute of it. Earlier in life Shooter was shown in some ranch and riding events and would excel if you were wanting to take him back in that direction. A fancy handle, superb spin in both directions, and big stop are all things this gelding will bring along with him. His lead changes are smooth and make riding him so comfortable you’ll forget you’re on a horse! He is suitable for anyone and is going to make his new owner very happy!
