Description:
This colt would make a great 4H project! Virgil is a buckskin colt born on 1/6/22. He is AQHA pending. He is currently weaned, eating on his own, halter broke and ready for new home now. He is the first foal from this pairing. His dam is around 15.1-15.2 hands tall and his sire is around 14.2 hands. We did the string test on him and looks like he should mature to around 15 hands. He is athletic and a smooth mover. Virgil is a big boned colt. He has frosting in his mane and tail. He is a friendly colt with a kind eye. He learns quickly and is very responsive. Virgil is a smart colt and good natured. He doesn’t seem to get very upset and very low key. He will come with a coggins, vaccinations, and health certificate if needed for out of state travel. Once breeder gets papers back will send a signed transfer and papers.

Dam is RJ Happy Partner and Virgil is her 5th foal. So far her foals are all friendly, big bodied and big boned foals. She is a broodmare only and was never broke to ride. She was bred by the Rockin J Ranch in Clarendon TX. Her pedigree goes back to the RA Brown Ranch’s Gold Fingers and Tenino Tough.

Sire is Pitzer bred and branded stallion, Zans Poppy Two. He is a 2003 buckskin son of Audacious To A Te (Also a Pitzer Stallion). His bottom side carries Gay Bar King on his papers as well. His foals are friendly and tend to size up bigger than he is. This is the first foal crop for the breeder from him, but his older foals have gone on to make nice rope and ranch horses.
