Description:
Phil is a unique, all around draft cross gelding that our whole family enjoys. He has plenty of eye appeal and is talented on the ranch and trails and in the arena. Phil is raw boned and has a big, sturdy foot. He has good conformation, and his back is built to fit a saddle. He’s a bigger horse but is not so wide to bother your hips. Phil is soft in the bridle, rides in one hand, and can also ride bridleless. Phil is smooth in all gaits. He will lope nice, collected circles and picks up the correct leads. He has a working, medium, and extended trot, and he has good body control. He sidepasses, haunches in, and shoulders in and has a good stop. He will take care of you and watches where he puts his feet. Phil is cowy, handy in the sorting pen, and works a rope as well. He is confident on the trails, crossing water, bridges, deadfall with ease. He has been exposed to cyclists, traffic, strollers and wildlife. He is happy to go regardless of weather. Phil has no vices, gets along in the herd, is good for the farrier and vet, and is current on all preventative healthcare.
