If you are looking for a gentle, well broke horse that is so smooth you could ride all day long and not get sore, then check out Foxy. She has an amazing trot and rocking horse lope that are so smooth almost anyone could sit to them and look good doing it. Foxy is a 14 year old black mare (she is still shedding her faded winter coat), 15.1 hh and well built, with a pretty head and a kind eye, and stout enough to carry a large man. She sells as GRADE. Foxy is an excellent horse to ride on the ranch and check fences, or take on trail rides, both short and multi-day. She rides quietly on a loose rein but will go all day long without complaint. She has a ton of speed, but will only give it when asked. Foxy has been used on the ranch and roped off of, but not recently. We have pushed and sorted cattle with her quite a bit. She has an excellent handle and stop, is good on both leads, will do flying lead changes, work a gate, and sidepass. Foxy is a pleasure to ride out in the pasture, crosses water with no problem, and isn’t spooky. She gets along great with other horses, is turned out with mares and geldings with no issue, and is very easy to catch out in a big pasture. Foxy is best suited to an intermediate or better rider, as she is responsive and athletic. She can be ridden out by herself or with other horses, and doesn’t mind being separated from the group. Foxy has also been ridden alongside the road and in traffic and isn’t bothered by it.
