This is one of the neatest horses I’ve ever had the privilege of owning! Valentina is a 12 yr old bay mustang mare who has so much going for her. She is gentle, sweet, safe, dependable, nicely broke, fun to ride, and very versatile. She is a horse that the entire family can safely enjoy. Valentina has a quiet, friendly personality and is extremely good minded, and will do anything you ask her to do without complaint. I’m pretty sure she identifies as a gelding, because I have never seen her act mare-ish. She is turned out with two geldings and another mare and they all get along with no problems at all. Valentina is 14.2 hh and stout, with a ton of bone and the biggest feet I have ever seen on a horse her size. She can go barefoot or shod, and even in the rocks will not be tender footed. Valentina has been ridden both English and western, will carry a flag, has jumped, pushed cattle, been on both short and multi-day trail rides, and has packed my 6 year old son and many other kids around safely. I have swung a rope off of her but have not roped any live cattle. There is nothing that bothers her at all. Valentina has never offered to buck, rear, bite, kick or take off, and is the same horse every time you ride her, whether it is every day or once a year. She is a pleasure to ride out in the pasture, crosses water with no problem, and isn’t spooky. Valentine is good on both leads, will work a gate, sidepass and move off your leg. She will neck rein or direct rein, and rides just as good bareback with a halter as she does with a saddle and bridle. She is extremely sure footed and will go up, over or through anything you point her at. Valentina can be ridden by herself or with other horses, and doesn’t mind being separated from the group. She has also been ridden along side the road and in traffic and isn’t bothered by it. Asking $6000. She recently had feet, teeth and coggins done so she is ready to go.
