Hereford is the gelding everyone is looking for. He stands 15 hands and weighs 1100lbs. Hereford is 4 years old but acts like a 12 year old. He is a family horse that will always aim to please you. Where ever you point him he goes through water, over logs, and handles all types of terrain. Hereford is great on the trails or in the arena. He rides good alone or with a companion. Tractors, chickens, dogs, etc do not scatter him in any way. Hereford is super easy to cue, squeeze him and he’ll hop right into a super nice short lope. He is very soft in the face and bridles down very easy. He will spin both ways and Has a good stop. If you’re looking to show in ranch riding or reining classes he’s perfect for that and will make you enjoy doing so. Hereford has spent countless hours outside ranching and gathering cattle. He is good to rope on outside in the pasture and has spent the last two winters doctoring wheat cattle. Hereford is truthfully one of a kind not just his color, but his personality and disposition. He knows what type of rider he has on his back and he will slow down for the little ones. Whether you’re 4 or 70 he will work for you. He is truthfully a horse of a lifetime.
