Maximus has been rode by all types of riders and has been ridden by my 4 year old boy and 6 year old daughter. Hes as Gentle and Quiet to ride as they come . He is a finished trail horse, arena horse and has been used as a ranch horse and is capable of doing any job you ask him to on the ranch. He is very good and seasoned when it comes to working with cattle. If you been looking for a been there done that trail horse Maximus will be a great fit for you . He’s super on the trail and sure footed on the rough terrain and steep hills. You will love his one hand neck rein, side pass , good back up and nice smoothing rocking chair lope. He has been ridden some english and would also make a good english horse. You can ride him out alone or with other horses. He is traffic safe and good around 4 wheelers and other farm equipment. You can let him sit for long periods of time and he will stay good broke and gentle. We never lunge him . We just saddle him up and go enjoy a nice relaxing ride. Maximus is the whole package.
