Description:
A High-End Horse and out of a Supreme Reined Cowhorse. Texas Red is a wonderful, well bred, all-around, handsome gentleman that is enjoyable to be around. He is well broke- soft mouthed, carries the bridle right and neck-reins very well. He is a great all-around ranch horse that has done everything, and he is seasoned in the arena and on the desert and in the mountains too. He has not been shown but could be - lopes pretty circles, nice lead changes, spins, stops and makes a pretty picture and would be an excellent 4-H horse for a older youth. He is good to head and doctor on in the pasture or brush or at team ropings- and hauls them in like a pro at brandings. He runs the barrels nicely but has never been pushed as we did not want to mess with his good mind. Texas Red is very cowey and is very good at cow- work and cutting! He can run fast and has a very fast long trot, and he is extremely smooth. He ground ties, lets you catch him anywhere, get on anywhere and is sure-footed- with no bad habits. He is very trainable, intelligent- all there and sound !! - Ready for his next endeavor as a ’damn good horse’. Very Gentle but not a plug or a dude horse - A pleasure to ride! Please try to come to the ranch at Big Piney, WY and try him out-make sure he is the perfect fit and your dream horse.
