Description:
Pancho the Unicorn! He is the ultimate bomb proof haflinger/paint cross riding and driving pony. He is a dynamic and super fun pony. They don’t get any more solid than this guy. He is awesome to drive and will teach a beginner the ropes of driving. Pancho stands like a perfect gentleman to be harnessed and hooked up. He has pulled a feed wagon, pulled a wagon on trail rides and he’s bomb proof to drive down the highway or in parades. You can hook him up to a 2 wheel cart as well. He will pull a sled also.

Pancho is well broke to ride and will guide around easily. He is super kid friendly but also big enough for an adult to ride if they want a shorter horse. He will ride in the indoor or outdoor arena comfortably. He picks up his leads and lope circles well and has a good stop. He has been ridden in English tack and will go over small jumps. Kids of all ages have ridden him. He is great pony for the kids to use on the ranch to help gather and pen cows. They can help load trucks on him. They can take off alone scouting for strays. They can even take him swimming in the pond. They stand on Pancho and Lefty together and practice Roman riding. You can also jump on this pony bareback with a halter and ride him anywhere.

Pancho is the ultimate trail riding mount. He’ll navigate anywhere you want to go through thick timber, across water, up the hills, across bridges and over logs. He will ride in a group or will ride off alone without issue. He is perfect to pony beside another horse and if you have a tiny kid that wants to ride he’s safe to pack your precious little one on. You can also use him to pony off of. He truly doesn’t care and always happy doing whatever you want him to.

We have used him in our program for events, parties and ceremonies so he has been exposed to large crowds of people, loud music and crazy commotion. We have hauled him to our new sister property on the lake and ridden him all over the trails there.

He been being used by our friend for therapeutic riding and is super patient with the handicapped kids. He is good with the kids moving around on him and comfortable with a side walker.

If you’re searching for a pony to drive and ride that has flashy looks, manners, is bomb proof to do anything with and affordable then Pancho is the perfect choice for you. His brother Lefty is also available so if you have 2 kids that each need a horse then Pancho and Lefty are the one stop shop for you. Or if mom and a kiddo each need a horse same deal you found both in one place. Pancho stands for the farrier, ties, bathes, loads and hauls. Pancho is 17 but don’t let his age bother you because he acts like he’s much younger and is healthy and has never had any issues.
