If you are looking for a nice, well broke gelding to use on the ranch or take to the arena and make a performance horse out of, then take a look at Lightning. He is a 10 year old grey gelding, 15hh and beautifully built with a big hip, good feet and a pretty head and neck. Lightning was bred by the Wagon Wheel Ranch. He is AQHA registered as “WWR King Surprise” # 5534407. Check out his complete pedigree at: https://www.allbreedpedigree.com/wwr+king+surprise Lightning is extremely gentle and friendly, has never offered to buck, rear, bite, kick or take off, and no matter what you ask him, he tries very hard to do it. He has a ton of heart and is good minded and willing. Lightning came off of a ranch in North Texas, where he was used for all phases of ranch work, including sorting pairs, roping and doctoring cattle in the pasture, dragging calves to the fire, and checking fence. He has a good foundation and is nicely broke, with an excellent stop, a light mouth and plenty of athletic ability. Lightning has smooth gaits, is good on both leads, and will work a gate. He is a pleasure to ride out in the pasture, crosses water with no problem, and isn’t spooky. He can be ridden out by himself or with other horses, and doesn’t mind being separated from the group. Lightning has also been ridden alongside the road and in traffic and isn’t bothered by it. Asking $11,500. He has good ground manners, stands quietly tied, and is easy to catch, load, haul and shoe.
