Description:
Division of large cow/calf outfit in Northern Nevada is looking to fill a position for a long term, full time cowboy/ranch hand.



Ideal candidate is a married fella who is savvy to cowboying alone or with a crew, running equipment when needed, and someone who will take initiative to step off their horse to fix fence.



All cow work done horseback. Though we do spend a lot of the year in big country outside with cattle, we do spend time running water and maintaining wells, fixing fence, irrigating, feed cattle if the year requires, etc.



Must supply your own string of saddle horses (mares okay), job will require some camping in the summer, feeding cattle in the winters, irrigating, fence mending, well maintenance, and other general ranch duties.



We are a family friendly ranch and appreciate those with a desire to learn, to grow, and to hopefully stay a while with us! This position includes housing that is best suited for a married couple or small family. (Remote with no bus route)
