Description:
Meet Amigo! He is a 16 year old retired charro gelding. About 15 hands. He is broke but we haven’t rode him in awhile due to being sick and having a new baby so just would need some tuning up. On the ground he is safe to be around. Stands tied, stands for farrier, easy to catch, easy to bathe, loads and rides in trailer fine. He’s tied up everyday and will literally wait to be tied up around the same time everyday. He will do better as a lead line horse or trail riding as he has gotten lazy but he’s been on cows a few times. A more assertive rider will make him go but a kid could probably only make him slow walk lol He does crib but he keeps weight easy as long as he wears his collar. He has no issue wearing the collar and you’ll forget that he cribs. He was a charro horse in his younger years so there are some trigger signals that might make him sit like a dog lol. He has been used for lead line and is perfect to lead a small toddler around on. He had a float last May and dewormed every 3 months. Very laid back dude. I have owned him for the past 3 going on 4 years. He doesn’t care about kids, dogs, tractors, heavy equipment, chickens, but he does not care for ponies especially if they are geldings/stallions but that’s really all that bothers him. He does fine with other horses as well.
