Description:
TA Ranch is looking for a competent person to be part of our team this year. Primary duty is assisting with care of 1,100 cow unit. This person would primarily be responsible for the fencing, assisting with moves, and back-riding on about 60,000 acres. About 300 acres of flood irrigation as well. Cows calve on open range in 5,000 +/- pastures. Move every few weeks. Reports to unit Foreman.



Assist on other parts of the ranch with branding, weaning, sorting, shipping, helping neighbors, etc. Cows are moved horseback and with ATV’s. Branding is either head and heel or heel-and-drag. Four full-time ranch employees, their families, and an intern round out the team.



Plenty of riding. Clean one bedroom house provided. Only 12 miles to town. Ranch truck, trailer, and ATV provided. Ranch can provide a couple ground-pounder horses if needed.



Approx. 10 hrs/day, 5 1/2 days a week.

Almost all Sundays off.
