Description:
Large Northern Nevada Cattle Ranch is seeking a seasonal Buckaroo to assist in day-to-day ranch operations. Job runs from end of February thru mid-December. This position is approximately 90% horseback, with the other 10% doing other general ranch duties, including fencing.



The position will require working with a small crew the majority of the time.



There is opportunity for growth within the company for the right person.



The location of the ranch is remote. There is very little to no community nearby, including neighboring ranches.



Requirements: Positive attitude, strong work ethic, ability and willingness to learn, open minded, flexible, low stress animal handling skills, good communication skills, ability to thrive in this remote location.



Compensation: $525/week plus housing (including water and power), beef



4-6 personal horses preferred but not required - horses must run with the cavy, must be used.



Limit of 2 dogs per adult, no dogs in housing and they must be kenneled when not supervised.



No live-in girl/boyfriends - Housing Available is suitable for an individual or family.
