Description:
Texana Barewood “Bear” is a 9 year old bay roan gelding. He stands at 15.3hh, weighs 1200 lbs, and has the best head I’ve ever seen on a horse. We raised bear and he was put on the back burner but it’s time for him to find a place to shine. He is broke to ride and is currently being used as a day working horse. Bear is not a kids horse- he needs someone who knows how to ride and can put him to work. With That being said if you have a middle school or high school aged kid who can really ride, he would be fine for them. He’s been around traffic, been roped off of and doctored off of mostly in the wheat patch. Would make an excellent ranch mount or rope horse. He has a lot of speed and loves to work.



Bear is SOUND, we are really dry right now and our ground is rocky so he currently has front shoes on.

He is a kind horse, has great ground manners and is easy to shoe. He’s UTD on dental, trimming, deworming, and vaccinations. This horse has had the same owners his entire life.
